What separates the Vararam from all the other intakes is that it is the only forced ram air kit. All the other intakes suck air from the stock filter location, whereas with the Vararam, the air coming through your grille is routed into the filter tray and FORCED into your throttle body. It is the best performing kit you can buy.

We are Vararam's biggest dealer on all hemi kits, and I actually picked up another 15 units from their shop this morning. Pair this intake up with 1 of our ported throttle bodies, and you have a perfect combination that will deliver guaranteed results.

Does anyone have a dyno run of before and after this varram and 87mm throttle body?

It's hard to dyno a Vararam because of the fact that its a ram air kit. The faster you're going the more air is being forced into the throttle body. And that's where it's true colors show. A fan blowing air into the engine bay on a dyno isn't going to show much results.

Maybe so... The dyno I ran down here on had two blowers equivalent to 65mph aimed where it most benefits. From the start to finish. I would say that is a pretty good replica of air force.
So there is no "proven" results?

That's pretty sweet. Vararam has some dyno sheets on their website you can check out. But for the average guy it's hard to find a dyno to replicate driving down the road. I know the one near me just has a small floor fan it uses.

Damn man that sucks.
The guys down here in the truck scene hit it really hard so if you want to make the money with tunes you have to have a top notch dyno setup and produce good work. I'm gonna check out those dynos.
I don't think saying it cuts .2 off your 1/4 mile time or something is not real concrete. I mean that could be anything. Better response, less humidity; you know anything.

Sounds good. And just to say, I had the Vararam on my 08 and I loved it. Great throttle response. Felt stronger. More get up and go at highway speeds.

My volant will be here tomorrow. If I am not happy with it I will send it back and give the vararam a go possibly.

Like said above, you cant replicate true driving results on dyno when you are looking at intakes. We used to have a member here that had a K&N on his 2012. When he switched it out for a Vararam, he consistently ran .3 faster in the 1/4 mile with the Vararam. Every other intake on the market is sucking in air where the Vararam is forcing in air.

Back in 03 and 04 when parts were just coming out for the hemi trucks, we made multiple intake setups...some for the street and some for the track. The ones that performed the best always incorporated some form of forced air. That is something that you cant get from any other intake.

As of today, the fastest N/A RC and CC 4th gens on this site are running both the Vararam and our 87mm TB.

The 87mm TB is only needed if you plan to add headers though. If you don't see yourself adding headers, then the 85mm is the way to go.

I had ONE! guy tell me he was not satisfied with it and preferred an AirAid CAI over the VaraRam. Apparently he saw better numbers at the track with it. Just an opinion. I'd give the AirAid a try

Ive had an AirAid, K&N, and now the Vararam.

We all know that anything is better than stock, but I noticed more SOTP power and throttle response with the Vararam.

I also added the 85mm TB from Moes after a few runs with the Vararam by itself. Wanted to feel each Mod by itself. Hemi450hp tells the truth. Its a great combo. And I was really impressed with the customer service. Solid.

Hemi450hp tells the truth.

Yes he does.....
Even though we are competitors he is a cool cat.

If anyone is needing any of these CAI's including the Vararam, either one of us can provide it to you.
