Holy moly! I don't know much about the delete mods, how hard is it to accomplish something like this?

16 QC Hemi. Usually around 18/19 all around highway/street. But when I'm conscious about it, makes a difference. Can't do this with a lot of street driving though, has to be mostly highway.

That's amazing for a hemisphere. Is your truck 4x4 or 2wd? What tires/wheels and gear ratio do you have?
2wd, stock tires and stock 20s, 3.21 gears, and 8 speed. Other than being QC, basically ideal setup for gas mileage right now. Also intake, exhaust, HF tune, 91 octane, and clutch fan delete/180tstat.

On highway, high 18's to low 19's. Best, keeping speeds to 70 mph and minding the right foot, 20.5; all hand calculated. 1500, 5.7, CC, 6.5' bed, 3.92 gears, 4x4, 180 degree T-stat. City driving, 13's to 14's, don't really look at city driving economy much.

Were you seeing the same numbers before your mods, after mods, or same?

I did half the mods right off the bat, so don't have a great baseline for stock. I feel like I probably picked up a couple peak mpg, but it seems much easier to get the better mileage. If that makes any sense. Almost like ideal conditions before and after are almost the same mileage but under non ideal conditions, it gets better mileage.

Sounds like my diesel! I Saw my same truck do a 288 foot diesel dirt sled pull in Denver, woman driving 6speed with camper shell and Mud tires! 288feet out of 300!

I have a 6.4L with 4.10 gears and I typically average between 13 and 14 MPG in town, 20-22 on the high way and 10-11 dragging my 14,500 pound fifth wheel. But, as many others have said hills, speed and wind make a huge difference.

11500 miles and lifetime hand calc is 20.6 90% highway 5% freeway 5% city. I use aa mix of 87/89 depending on price. ie 89 can get close to 5.00/gal
