Air Valve under cab

So my buddy and I were under the truck today cranking on the torsion bars. Just got the truck a few days ago. Got a solid 1.5" out of the bar with room to spare

Anyways we noticed an air valve under the cab on the passenger side and between the owners manual and google can't find any info about what it is. It's like a tire valve.

That is something that some one installed. That's not factory. Maybe it was for an air bag system or a tank fill for an air horn.....

UPDATE!!

I found this on the inside of the cab. It's just got a hole in it sticking out of the carpet and it moves when I move the valve. Still no idea what it was for

Have you tried putting the compressor to it yet?

Maybe that's somebody solution to plugging a bullet hole!!! Lol

I guess I could pressurize the cab if I hooked up a compressor. Maybe it was used in high altitudes :rotflmao:

Seriously though it seems like it's plugging a hole but theres a cut out in the sheet metal so it looks like it was a factory hole of some sort...

Well I took it out and now there's a hole big enough to drop a cigarette butt through... Maybe that's what it was used for. I guess I'll stick it back in, maybe upside down this time
