Hey guys,
Got an 08 4X4 ram, 4.7l.

I had a vibration that got worse when turning left, so i'd figure it would be the RF hub assembly, put that in and it didn't fix it.

My question is, could a worn CV axle case this? I do have some vibration going straight, just gets when turning left. Thanks for any help!!

Yeah that can cause the vibration. Check the CV axles on BOTH sides. If you try to wiggle them there should be no movement at all. Any movement means you need a new one. Not real sure how hard it will be to change one out. I have never owned a vehicle that had 4wd or Front wheel drive.

I'd check for a broken belt in the tire also.

I've rotated my tires and the vibration is still there. It nearly goes away when you turn right.

Usually when a cv joint goes bad it starts to click when making a turn. I'm not saying it couldn't vibrate, but you'll hear a clicking noise first.

Changed out the cv Axle.. What a pain! It pulled out the inner splines and it was seized on to it. So I can to literally cut the inner part off the splines very carefully.. Vibration is still there.. Not sure what else it could be.
