Can someone please help me identify the two hoses that I have photographed? I believe my leak may be coming from the one on top with the worm clamp. I found most people solve their hose leaks by replacing the original tension?clamps with worm clamps. In this case the previous owner has already placed a worm clamp on my hose. It could be possible the hose is rotten, however it appears visually to be good in the picture. Not sure if this could have leaked the amount that I found under the truck though, spot about 14" in diameter. The fluid level in the resivour was a hair below the 'low fill' line. I got some ATF-4 and filled it to the full line. It has been very cold here the past month, I noticed in other threads that the cold is when people noticed their leaks the most also.

*note this photo was taken from under the truck looking up with myself positioned near the drivers side front wheel with my head towards the front of the truck and my legs towards the rear of the truck.

The top is the low pressure hose that goes to the cooler I believe and the bottom is the high pressure coming from the pump. It doesnt look like the hose has been leaking, and I doubt it would leak that much like you described. I would check to make sure that clamp is tight, then clean off those power steering hoses, the rack and the pump then itll be easier to trace down the leak later. My guess would be its coming from the pump itself and possibly dripping down onto that hose?

Thanks for the quick reply! I had cleaned everything off prior to taking the picture. Didn't think to take a pic before! The worm clamp sure felt tight as I did try to turn/move it with my hands and could not. I am going to search for power steering pump to get an idea of what to look for tomorrow.

ahh ok, I though it looked pretty clean lol. Yeah I would check around the pump and also follow that top line to the power steering cooler, youll have two more connections there that have those tension clamps and can leak too.

After the fluid top off and cleaning a couple of days ago the truck has been sitting. I set a clean paper towel taped to cardboard under the truck. Every morning and evening I've been checking it and it's been clean. This morning there was a 4" spot of fluid. I crawled under the truck and it is dripping directly from the hose with the worm clamp. I wiped it off and checked the pump itself and it was dry. I again checked the worm clamp and couldn't move it with my fingers but I decided to see if it would tighten with a screwdriver (I did not try this before). Sure enough it went two turns with a screwdriver! I'm hoping this is the fix.
