Are you talking tail housing? If so no, but you need to oil the the bearings/bushing and seal before assembly.

This is the bushing that needs to be oiled.

Yes the tail housing I did change the output seal but it still leaking. Does this means I put it wrong or somethin another part is the culprit.

Typically the seal leaks because the yoke bushing is shot and is nolonger holding the yoke steady so that the seal can maintain the seal properly. Im the picture above is the bushing I'm talking about. Crawl under the truck and with the driveshaft in neutral shake the front yoke checking for play. Since your's is still leaking my guess is the will be some play. Maybe even some vibration.

Thank you. I will check it tomorrow. The bushing you are talking about its inside the tail casing. If I remove the output seal will I be able to see it. How hard its to change it. Thank you

The picture I posted is with the seal removed and the bushing can easily be seen. If you are not familar with doing this type of work, you might consider just taking the tail housing to a transmission shop and have them install a new bushing and seal. Then you can reinstall the roller bearing/ shaft and bolt it back together. I went to NAPA and bought a seal, then saw that I also needed a bushing. Napa actually got the bushing from a local trans shop. Seemed a little expensive when I bought the seal and bushing seperately, but then I found a OEM kit that included both bushing and seal for I think something like $13 and used that because IMO it was better quality. Too bad I'm overseas as I think I have two kits at home.

This is the end of the tail housing that bolts to the trans.

Looking from front to rear with the shaft and bearings removed. I changed the bearings on mine along with the bushing and seal.
