What do you mean by the back end feels loose? Leafs dont really go bad or wear out, and the caltracs and swaybar should help keep the rear end planted. Have you tried adjusting your shocks to a stiffer/softer setting yet?

Have you checked your tire pressures?

i tried different setting on the shocks ...nothing..
tire pressure is correct
and the spring perch is welded

i really think its the shocks...i took them off to test them....they are kind of easy to compress but are a ***** to pull out on the number 9 setting...

Sounds like it may be the tires. What brand and size are they, and how many miles are on them? I would try to rotate them to see if the problem is still there. Also, check your air pressure.

Probably wouldnt hurt to make sure the sway bar is tightened up as well

just checked the pressure....its 38psi all around....thats what its supposed to be....

the spare is not loose

by loose i mean at highway speeds the back end is not tight when i change lanes...the front is very responsive but the rear is not...

i just took everything off and re torque to spec and its still the same...

Did you change anything just before you noticed this? Did it start right after adding the new tires?

are you sure its in your rear.... could it be something like ball joints starting go out giving you a sway as you change lanes?

Fixed it.....one of my shocks up front was done....I put a matching set of qa1's in the front now...and they sent me the wrong back plates for my caltracs...she's back to normal....handles 100 times better with qa1 all around....just waiting on my swaybars to come in...thanks for all the help guys....
