Found these 2500 overload springs on CL.

Overload springs

Could these work on my 1500? I've been wanting to beef up the back end primarily because I've been cutting a lot of wood this fall and tired of the ass end of my truck dragging.

If something like this would work what would I have to do? I put on my level kit, but have no other experience with suspension, not afraid to give something a shot with your guys help though!

As long as they are no wider it should work or be made to work. gonna have to get longer u bolts if its thicker(assuming the 2500 ol springs are).

You're better off getting some air bags. For about the same cost/effort you can get some load leveling air bags to level the load that way you can keep the soft 1/2 ton ride while keeping a level ride.
Just remember leafs or bags you arn't increasing your payload rating. The rest of the truck is only rated for 1/2 a ton.

I think I like the idea of airbags better than the overload springs. Not worried about payload since I tow a small trailer just a couple times year.
