Anyone have pics of all the stuff you've painted with plasti-dip?

I want to paint my rims and nerf bars

I'm seriously thinking about doing the rims black, and would it work on the brake calipers??

You asked for them :) time to ***** it up. This is just my truck, I also have some on the wife's minivan, and it will be getting more when it warms up.

So far here is my list: wheels, nerf bars, roll bar, gas door, decals, dash bezel, passenger air bag, and my bumper inserts

do you have to use a primer first? and is there something I can use to make it have a glossy look?

Nope no primer. just clean and spray that way is still removable. I have heard Plasti dip has a clear coat, but I have not tried it. I have also heard using the spray tire foam works too for awhile, just spray on a rag, then wipe it down.

Looks fairly easy! You dont have to scuff up the surface, do you?

nope no scuffing, no sanding, no priming. just clean it and spray away. If you do any sanding/scuffing it will ruin the service and you might as well actually paint it. with plasti dip you can go back if you don't like it

Thats the beauty of Plasti-dip. No prep other than cleaning the surface. If you don't like it, you can get it off.

also the more coats you put on, the easier it will be to take off if you don't like it, and it will be more durable too
