Well I tried too kill two birds with one scoop. I did the seamless look I was waiting for, but noooooo that wasn't enough, I also tried too hit it with some more paint and clear coat, thinking I was a pro at it! I ended up ******* up the scoop, (looks anyway) but gained a pretty good seamless look that I wanted. I should just sand the top and start from scratch, pix up at first morning light!!
need some tips. besides the obvious, get a real hood ********, thanks.:birgits_tiredcoffee
lol Like I said ,. here they are.

I have a ''stick on'' there is a seam, I found a way too hide it.
then I tried too get the scoop too look like the hood , even better than it is in my sig pic. I failed miserably, still confused?:killer:

Yeah, I know the rain is my friend, but it looked like total **** in the daylight, dry. Trust me. I'm gonna try too hit it with a 800,1000,1500,2000,rubbing compound, polish, then fukken wax. See if it helps, otherwise I gotta take it all down too the gel coat. But I never did that before. Might get a body shop involved, thats how bad it is. imo.

Bill, weren't you trying to get the whole truck re-cleared or something anyway? Like you said, just get a body shop to do it. Hell, even MACCO can do it fairly cheap I'd gather.

I'll bet maaco would do it for 2 bills if you take it off the truck.

I just hope there's no silicone in that caulk you used because you can't paint silicone.
