Is it possible to swap out the oem volt meter in the dash for a aftermarket one?

I found a cool one but I think it might be kinda over kill to have the oem one and then another one in my A piller.

There have been a few people running an aftermarket meter in a pillar pod. What gauge were you looking to pick up? Im guessing a needle sweep one for the voltage?
