Wanting to change this since the first day I got the car.
The guy before me installed some ugly woodgrain covers all over the car, and Im personally not a big fan.
Im trying my best to take em off the doors, inside panels etc...
But have no idea how to do that on the front bezel:
picture.php

(You can also see that he did a terrible with wiring the new H.U. etc..; that will be fixed soon ;) )

Any help would be appreciated. Im either thinking about just taking the cover off, or maybe get a custom red/black bezel (I saw someone on the forum making em, cant remember his name).
What option do you think is best ?

BTW, if anyone is interested in buying the woodgrain cover when I get it off, feel free to shoot me a PM.

I believe those might have come stock on your truck, at least they look like it. Which means you have to swap out that center piece. to remove it you have to drill out the rivets and I think they have to be glued back in or something, its not really easy. Or you can go to a scrap yard and find you a new bezel for pretty cheap

Yeah, you pull the whole center bezel out, with the lighter and air bag light...it has a couple bolts.

To remove the radio bezel from the part of the dash, there's like 8 or 10 plasti weld that need to be drilled out, one their drilled out the radio bezel can be removed, then painted or covered in vinyl.

To attach it back on, you will need to use JB Weld to attach the radio bezel back onto the dash piece.

I've thought about tinting the wood grain in my truck. It has the wood but I'd like to try it as a black, but still be able to see the wood grain thru the black. My wife's truck (Platinum) has this black wood in it and I like it a little better. Maybe you could try tinting it with VHT nightshades and clear it or something. Then you could be the one experimenting on your interior and I won't have to waste my time if your doesn't turn out good. Hahaha. Seriously though, once you get it apart you have several options on what you can do to it. Paint it or vinyl it like he said earlier. Please post pics when u do it, I am going to be watching this thread for ideas on mine.
