Hey,
I have a 2006 dodge ram. No matter what I do with the panels in the truck, they start rattling again in a little while. Is there anything that should stop me from buying a box of self-tapping screws and go to town??? Also, I notice a lot of rattling coming from the dash. Has anyone done anything successfully to lessen the noice coming from the dash?
Thanks a bunch

From what I've heard, the rattling is due to the fact that plastic tabs go into metal on the dash, so the metal will expand in the heat, and the plastic tab will rattle around in its seated position. Find out which piece is rattling, and wrap the tabs in some sort of electrical tape.
