I would look hard into a spray on lining. Had that in my Jeep, it was the ticket. Just an outside the box thought.

I will be doing that to my Suburban. But this Dodge I want the padding and insulation that comes with the vinyl factory stuff.

Not much padding and insulation on my vinyl floor. Regret swapping out my carpet for vinyl floor from an ST. Would trade no problem if you were a RC.

Just wonder if the LMC vinyl is as thick as OEM. I was thinking about swapping since the cost of a full set of Weathertech's is about $200 and some Vinyl carpet kits are about $160-200.
Maybe I can use the carpet padding AND the padding that comes with the Vinyl kit and kind of double up?
