Im going against the grain and will go with SB. After yall finish the swap drive it a few and turn off and repeat the cycle a few. Im more worried with SB going into a lean condition off the bat till the computer can adjust.

Headers might make that worse too (my Lt's leaned me out quite a bit). I dont see one in your sig but you should go a head and pick up a 180* T-Stat and get the powerwire too. Should help with the running to lean.

Going lean will mean not enough fuel which can turn the combustion chamber into a tourch. Agreed with the 180 stat to richen it up some. Lean could also cause some knock just depends all these trucks act different to mods. If you get into doing alot with the truck pick up a cheap wideband and pod for it to keep an eye on the A/F. I know teach said his was pretty good but still wanna keep an eye on that stuff.

There a few others out cheaper but this is what I have and its simple and easy. You could do that during your header install and use one of the bungs. If you have some extra cash I would get an Interceptor. If your bad lean at WOT then the power wire will be needed to trick the computer the throw more fuel at it and see where your at. Target A/F at WOT is 12.2-12.4 far as I have been instructed.

I'd at least get the 180* and the powerwire in there when you do the cam install. There really isn't much more you can do after that with the SC so get those items doen and you should be ok...But get a wideband in there ASAP though when you get the $$$ to do so. Also, not sure if the SC can do this, but if you can log for knock afterwards do so.

The kit for the Intercepter to use a wideband is 200+ I think. Its just a reall coolgauge and does alot, but the AEM one will work fine.

THe gauge is $237 and the WBO2 is an additional $180 (or at least that was the price I got mine from)
