So I've got a coolant leak, and between work and everything else going on lately I haven't had a chance to track it down. So, has anyone ever used the stop leak stuff? Just wondering if it is worth giving it a shot? Right now I'm dumping in coolant as it gets low.

i know it wasnt for the coolant, but i had a small leak in my power steering and put in that stop leak stuff and it worked pretty good. stopped the leak, but took a while for it to stop it. took like a week for it to stop leaking after i put in the stop leak stuff.

That stuff will stop the leak, and everything else. I wouldn't put it in my cooling system

I never had any luck with it. Before I knew better, I used it and it clogged up my heater core!!

Hey check your rad, mine had a hair line crack in it and a few other rams around my neck of the woods had the same issue. It would expand once it heated up and then close after the truck cooled. Took me some good hard looking but saw it after awhile.
