Can anyone tell me a good Ecu chip for my truck, and what the benifits are of one?

Um none and none, chips are ****. Get a tuner, if you're really looking for performance then trade it in on a hemi. You won't get much out of the 3.7

You should stay away from anything that refers to itself as a "chip". What you need is a programmer/tuner.
I know superchips makes a programmer that would work on your truck, just not sure about the engine size. I'm sure one of our other members will chime in soon.

Once you're ready to buy one, hit up our vendor DB Truck Customs. Best prices by far, and he's the owner of RF too lol

Defintely go with a tuner. I checked SC's site but they didn't show one for the 3.7.

Hmm getting a hemi is not a option right now. I'm just looking at ways to make my 3.7 perform better

changing gear ration in the differential is what he is talking about. Doing gears can be expensive though especially if you have 4 wheel drive.

efan wont add any real seat of the pants performance its good for around 10hp. the gears are the rearend gears it cost about a grand for 2wd but it is the biggest bang for the buck short of forced induction. gears muliplies the the power of the motor. with the 3.7 you prob. have 3.55 open rearend which suck esp. if you have rims bigger then the stock 17s. if you tow kinda reg. or have gone with rims that are 20s or bigger then gears really help a ton also

the best thing prob. about the programers is that it changes the trans shift points which helps alot if you have a auto trans. and the low power of the 3.7.

tuner is prob. the next best mod after gears.
