ok so i have 2 exhaust hangers that have broke free from the pipe with in the last 9 months. all the hangers are now is a metal rod welded to the pipe and frame. I think they have both broke cause of extreme vibration from going down bumpy ass back roads and rough ass dirt roads. So what type of hanges should i get that will eliminate this promble?

I'd go with some with a rubber bushing in the middle. They'd let your exhaust move around a little to keep from breaking the welds but not enough to bend the tubing or break studs

Something like this

Those are standard use ones available. I had heavy duty rods welded to mine after the thinner ones rusted. Mostly the rods are made on site but the rubber hangers should be easy to get at an Auto Parts Joint. They come in all rubber or rubber surrounded over a large metal link that cannot be cut off with a knife blade. Even have funky colours available. The welding is what costs $$.

Alternatively and cheaper you can use a clamp and rubber hanger with holes throughout and riveted piece that the clamp slips over. Not as Pretty but effective.

Interesting. I have constant busted hangers too. I'll have to check these out next time they need fixed.
