Got a question I'll be taking my truck back to FL for Christmas and am looking to save as much money on fuel costs as possible. I've heard that disconnecting the front drive shaft helps save .1-.4 mpg I knows it's not a lot but at 13.5 highway I need all the help I can get driving 800 some odd miles. So does anyone know if it's true and if I do it will it damage anything keep in mind I have a solid front axle.
