Ordinarily I would use the search box for my kind of problem, but mine seems to be unique. So my belt is doing a squeal during acceleration and revving at a stop. After around 1500 rpm I get a gnarly squeal. Now, I checked the belt I have no cracking or glazing. I bought the car about 2 weeks ago and the previous owner told me he swapped the belt. So far I changed the automatic tensioner and both idler pulleys and I still get the squeal. However it stops once I get the engine to operating temperature. As a matter of fact it seems to go away completely when the thermostat is engaged. Although when cold it's there upon acceleration. What can this be? The car is an 04 Ram Hemi with 124xxx miles. Anyone had a similar problem in the past?
The pic is when the squeak has officially stopped with the temp dropping slightly. I'm guessing after the thermostat has opened.
