Side Pipes

I just put in a Full Boar single chamber into my 2004 5.7 and now I want to put side pipes on it but I am not sure on what tips and what angle I want them coming out at. I'm also not sure if I want single or dual tip. If you have side pipes on your truck can you post up pictures of it to give me some ideas? Thanks

Always liked the Gibson set-up and is said to be one of the best original systems as far as Gains go. But for a Minute I was thinking Ol school Chrome full length side pipes like we ran in the 70's...LOL.

Yeah I say side pipes but I mean side exit. I'm not looking for full length pipes down the side lol.

If I go diesel I'm laying smoke stacks down the sides! The Daytona has a stock side exit tho. If I were home I'd post up a pic.

What problems have you heard about? I have magnaflow side exits on mine. Ill get pics later today.

The only problem I've seen with in front of wheel side exits is that over time in a cold climate (like the Midwest) the corrosive exhaust gasses will eat at the wheel. Ford tried it for a while and ended up replacing exhaust systems and wheels due to the above noted issue.

not the best pics but this is my old quad cab with a single in single out magnaflow out the side into a y that would split it out into two corsa style tips trying to upload a video of it but my phone isnt doing it for some reason

my set up was stock manifolds no catalytic converters manual cutout then into a single in single out magnaflow 14"

open cutout... video does not do it justice on how loud and mean it sounded at all

closed cutout through the magnaflow
