I broke my left (driver's) head while putting the timing guide on. No fixing it so I ordered a rebuilt one off ebay. Well, I ordered the NON EGR style and my tuck has the EGR. I hate the EGR and think its stupid, but what are my options here if I decide to just use the head with block off plates, as far as the CEL goes anyway? Can this code be deleted via a tuner on the 4.7 motor?
