Ok, so somehow I just found this website this morning and after looking around, you guys provide seriously more help than other Ram forums. So with that, I also noticed there have been several references to Compustar remote star systems. My stock remote blows more than.... well nevermind, we will keep it family friendly. I seriously have to stand directly next to my truck in order for the remote to work. So long story short, you guys tell me about how Compustar is the bees knees. I take a looksy at local dealers and the nearest dealer is a good hour and a half away... Not so sure I want to make that drive just to have remote start installed in my truck. So, is this a system I can install myself? I am fairly well versed with electrical systems, I am just not sure if instructions come with the kits or if they are suppose to be "dealer" installed only.
