Anyone know the bulb number for the light on the headlight switch? Trying to replace it with a red LED!

when i had changed mine out to white, i just took the switch apart and took the old bulb out and soldered in an SMD led. If you go to radio shack and pick out a high power red led and a 440-470 ohm resistor youll be all set. i used 1 led in mine and it lit it up perfect with no hot spots

So I went over to radio shack and the guy had no idea what an SMD led was, I figured he would know since he works there haha and I have no idea too. So I bought two bulbs that I thought might work and some 470 ohm resistors. Here's what I bought,

Would either of these bulbs work or do I need to make a run back to radio shack?

I can't help. But I'm interested to see if it works. And how it looks.

I was just in there looking at LEDs. I'm thinking of trying the evil eyes in the ram heads.

Haha I'll be sure to update when something happens.
I do like those ram eyes but I can't do it because I don't have a big ram symbol );

Anyone know how to take the headlight switch apart? I can't seem to get the actual knob off to take apart the plastic to get the board
