I am wanting to make the truck sound better eventually and want to keep it plug and play, mainly due to the 2 ohm thing and don't want to spend a ton of money on it. I came across the Kicker upgrade kid for Mopar and was thinking it looked to fit both of my criteria (cheap and easy). Does anyone have any experience with this setup? I have noticed that you can get just the speakers to plug in or you can get the speakers and an amp too to run the new speakers. I am just looking for feedback on any experience that any of you may have had or heard about it. I am not looking for anything crazy loud/expensive, just a small upgrade to make it sound better

I have seen it at the dealership but never heard it cranking in a ram.

Actually, GREAT! I'm a little biased though. But yes, it's all direct plug and play. Kit will come right down to everything you will need, including zipties.
Which kit are you looking at? The 4.1 amp is amazingly loud for what it is!
