Odometer problem

Hi Guys
New guy here. This is my 3rd ram 1500. The problem is the small screen on instrument cluster won't work at all. The one with odometer. Everything else works great except that small screen. Where should I look for the problem?

My 2005 Rumble Bee has the same problem. When I first bought it 1-1/2 months ago the odometer would sometimes work, other times it wouldn't, or be real dim (barely visible at night). I haven't seen the odometer at all in the last 2 weeks. Any suggestions you guys have to help us out would be great.

The bulbs possibly might have gone out. There is a thread on here about doing a led dash conversion which would explain how to replace the bulb there

I don't think there are replaceable bulbs for that LCD display but I could be wrong. The gauge clusters on the 3rd gens are notorious for having electrical issues due to cracked solder joints. You could also try unplugging the cluster and plugging it back in. Unlikely but if the problem is in a pin in the connector that may make it make contact again.

I fixed mine by getting a used one and just swap it. On the old one I checked all the bulbs and inspect solder joints but could not locate the problem. So I just get used one off eBay.
Also there is a company that claims they can fix it for about $100.
