2014 3500 trailer hooked up with lights working but the truck is not recognizing that it is hooked up. I have checked the fuses, ground, plug, and used both female in the bed and on the bumper. Using the 7 prong cannon plug. Hooked up five different trailers with the same thing happening. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

Since nobody chimed in...

My truck wouldn't recognize when my flatbed trailer was attached either...but all the lights were working.

I then remembered I had cut my electric trailer brake wiring on the trailer because the drums had seized up over time. Once I connected the wires back together the trailer was being seen on the evic.

So I'd just check all your wiring to make sure.
