Anyone know if you can add a tranny temp gauge to a 2012 express? I would like to be able to watch it towing my camper.

you don't have the EVIC? I can see my temps on that.

oh i should have read your whole post and saw that you have an express. I would think you can add a temp gauge, others that know should chime in

Should just have to drop the pan and have a temp sensor in the pan and run the wire up to a gauge of your choice

I don't think it was even an option on an express. If I put a sensor in the pan how can I route the wire out of the tranny itself? I wonder if there is a way to sense it in the line headed up to the cooler?

Well drill out a hole in your pan where you want the sensor, have a nut welded in around the whole and screw your sensor into the pan. The wire connects to the sensor and the sensor will just screw in

I found a kit on summit racing that went in line before the cooler. Might give that a try.
