I changed the oil pressure switch because the oil pressure gauge would not come on all the time when it was cold. If I turned it off and then restarted it it would come on.
I bought a brand new switch from the dealer and after switching it the check engine light comes on and the code I am getting is P0522 - Oil pressure switch low voltage. The oil pressure is reading correctly. WTF?

That would mean the switch is broken. Might just wanna have it taken to autozone, or if you have a tuner, and clear the code. I would doubt it would come back since you said its brand new, and the oil pressure is reading.

Is there a way to clear the code myself? Unplugging the battery for a little while?

I'm not exactly sure on that one. I know it resets the computer, so it might work. I don't see why not.

I'm gonna try that, and if not..I got a buddy...

On a side note.. What kind of tuning options do I have for this truck?
