Hello everyone. I recently purchased a truck that had 37" tires on it which isnt very practical for work purposes. I decided to take the lift off and put 33s on it. I believe the truck is gears 4.10 and with the smaller tires my RPMs are way too high. I was wondering what you guys suggest for the best ratio for all around better mileage, and power. My buddy says 3.75, and another says 3.55 so what in the census. Any and all help is appreciated.

Thank you

For the Cummins? 3.55. Easy to find too.

I don't think there is a 3.75 ratio for these rigs but I could be wrong. 3.55 will yield the best mileage. As DD94 should be easy to find too, just costly to put in.

Right on thanks guys. I was mistaken on the 3.75, its a 3.73 that my buddy has in his truck. as far as the 3.55, Ill run with that. I have found them for relatively cheap, and I have a mechanic buddy that wants some carpentry done, barter is good. again Thanks for the help!!!
