Ok so I was browsing craigslist seeing if anything new has shown up this week. Came across this. Very VERY tempting deal.

2000 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 auto Cummins quadcab nice tuck

Looks in good shape. The Miles worries me a little bit. But I do like the color. Wondering your all thoughts? Worth taking a look at?

Also for you newer sport guys. is there an adapter out there so I could put my headlights in to the newer sport. I know there is one for the duals to single but is there one the other way?? Its a good price but makes me wonder if it has been used and abused. I also like the description lmao. Huge 3" exhaust. hahahaha

Looks clean. Tranny would be my main concern if its still the original.

206...if maintained and serviced that would be low for a cummins. They're meant to go the distance. Looks like the engine is stock...and the exhaust...stock tail pipes were 3 inches. Now if it had a 5 inch straight pipe...mmmmmm I dunno.

Ok so list of concerns.

Trans
Miles

What else??

Lol ok I thought stock was 4" ok so stock exhaust. Says it has a edge tuner too.

The pictures of the rear shows the tailpipe. Looks like it has been redone. Factory didn't exit at an angle.

I think that price is a little high... theres one here with 148000 miles for 7500.

Its worth taking a look at man... def take it for a drive and see how it feels.

Things to check
1. Tranny (slipping, shifting right)
2. Front end...these 2500 front ends are notorious for there front ends. Check and make sure everything is tight.
3. I'm pretty sure I've read somewere that the 2nd gens have had problems with there lift pumps going bad.
4. Try and dig up as much dirt on it as you can...ask the dealer if you can call the previous owner.

I think it looks good...and I'm sure you can talk em down some.

You'll love the CTD

I think the only truck on RF that doesn't have something plasti-dipped

The motor is built for high mileage but dodge didn't build the truck for it
Keep in mind it's still a truck with high miles

Ok good call on the lift pump. I'm a ctd rookie. Lol don't want to think I'm getting a good deal and get crap.

I know its a truck with high miles. And in the pics I don't see the normal rust so not sure. May go take a look at it. See what it looks like in person. Kinda wanna carry over a bunch of my mods if I get a new truck.

Sent from my apple torching Droid.
