Tell ya what I did and it came out pretty well. Get a leveling kit. Those are about 100 - 150 bucks depending on what one you get. Then I didn't do blocks in the rear. I kept my stock block and went to my parts store and picked up a set of monroe load leveling shocks. I picked up 2 or 3 inches in the rear and 2 1/2 up front. So looks like a 2 inch left but in fact it's not. That is just a thought.

As far as adjustments no not if you do a level kit and blocks or shocks. If you do the body lift you may have to play with the radiator and the steering not sure never done a body lift. Just some food for thought and welcome to the forum!!

Rule of thumb on a suspension ... anything over 3" you will need to replace a few components .

I would go with the route Vicky went .

I got the 2" leveling kit for my old 2500 (same suspension) for $69.00 shipped to my door brand new from TGC.

The rear you can do blocks. Any kit should come with U-bolts. You should never reuse them. Once and done.

I went with the 2.5" leveling kit from Top Gun, and Bilstein 5100 shocks (my shocks needed replaced) My truck has the off-road package so it sits roughly about 2 inches higher than a regular one. I could have went with the 2 inch leveling in the front but I like the way it sits. The ride is very smooth, even while towing my camper.

Also for those people with the off road package, I got the shocks that are for trucks with 2-3inches of lift.
