My truck doesn't have one stock, what does that help with and if I want to add one can I without changing a lot of stuff on my suspension?

Are you sure you dont have a track bar ? That is odd if you dont .

OEM bars are 200 bucks and I thought they were stranded on these trucks ?
You can pick up a replacement from Moog for 150 .

The track bar keeps the axle centered under the truck. If it is gone you risk the possibility of the axle going to one side or another. Then you get into tire wear problems, dog tracking, and other problems like drive line alignment amongst other things.
