I just bought a 2001 Ram 1500 club cab with what i believe is a 6inch suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift. My steering pulls to the left hard and the wheels wont stay aligned. i know some front end parts are shot. it appears that the bracket that drops down and bolts to the track bar to level it has alot of play. would this be called the track bar relocation bracket or drop bracket? also how would i identify the maker and specs for the lift i have to get the correct part, and does anyone know how much it might cost? i'm new to lifted trucks so your response is appreciated

Welcome to the site.

Got any pics of the front end parts? The lift parts might be stamped with a name

They are drop brackets. But it sounds like you've got bigger problems.

please dont drive it.
a weak track bar can be devastating. (death wobble)

I would recommend an adjustable track bar and remove the drop bracket

or any manufacture trackbar bracket I think would work, if you cant identify it.

Pictures are worth a thousand words :)

The track bar and right ITRE should always be at the same angle.

The steeper the angle, the harder it is to steer, and the more wear/tear on the hardware/components/steer gearbox, etc. Drop pitman arms are a double-edged sword, as well. While they reduce the steer angle, they also increase the side-load on the steering box.

Pick your battles. :)

I also highly recommend a steering box brace, regardless of how you choose to 'fix' your steering issues.

I have yet to see a drop bracket for a trac bar that is really 'up to par' I'd get a proper adjustable trac bar for the amount of lift you have.

I'd imagine. Rebuildable joint ones are what I'd recommend, unless the lift is only used as a mall-crawler ;)

Replace your ball joints, tie rods, track bar and anything else in that region at the same time. Then you only need one alignment.

I ran the DT trac bar on my '00. I loved the unit. Made a night and day difference. Double johnny joints transmit a whole lot of jarring, which destroys the joints too.

I like that the DT has a bushing at one end, and a johnny at the other. Perfect combination of flex and durability.
