Fabtech is about the only one that I'm aware that make complete suspension components for 2wd 2nd gens.

Not much demand for these trucks now.

Fabtech has one kit and its for an ext. Cab and they claim the springs arent made for a light truck such as a short bed regular cab like mine

I just looked at the Fabtech site and the only kit not listed for reg cabs is the 3 inch. You wouldn't want to waste your time with a 3 inch kit. It take the 3.5 lift to even get up to where a stock 4x4 would sit...the 6.5 kit would give you like a 4x4 with a 2.5 leveling kit.
The biggest reason you can run 315 inch tires with a 6.5 kit is there are no control arms to hit like on a 4x4.

I can run 33's now with nothing and stock rims with very little scrubbing. The back of my truck sits almost just as high as a 4wd now so the 6.5 kit should so more than that I would think

Scrubbing is still failure to me...

I've seen many lifted 2nd gen 2bys back in the day and tallest I've seen sat on 6.5 fabtech with a body lift. it was as tall as my buddys short bed 4x4 with a 5.5 fabtech and 315 tires.

Stock 4x4 in the rear...maybe...with 33's A stock 4x4 with 33s would still be taller and not hit.

Regardless of how you look at it. The 6.5 inch kit levels the front up and lifts the back 4 inches so if you're referring to a 2wd vs 4wd mine still gonna sit higher by 2 inches and with the right rim I'll be running 35's with ease and I know a guy running 37's with no scrubbing so we will see
