Well what's your budget?
Google john Deere blitz black and look at some of the paint jobs done with it
It's a satin black tractor enamel so it's really tough and would hold up to the abuse it seems like you'll be putting your truck through, it's pretty inexpensive too
A green two tone with it would look good haha

If you want a really good flat/satin finish and want a choice of multiple colors, pearls and metallic, the best route to go is Hot Rod Flatz...hands down. For a gallon kit at Kustom Shop, you'd be looking at around $170

I dont think tractor supply does, just john deere dealers. And from what i read, yes that will work. I read people just bought really cheap guns and it worked fine. Im really considering this too lol

With the cost of automotive paint today, the John Deere single stage paint may be the only option you have if you want to stay in your budget.
Be sure to create a thread documenting your paint project with lots of pics, I'm sure we would all enjoy that.

Good Luck!

With your truck being smaller you could probably do it all with one gallon of paint
You will need 1 pint of hardener an 1 pint of thinner for every gallon of paint(8 parts paint:1 part thinner:1 part hardener)
If your spraying outside an it's hot you'll want to add a little extra thinner to make it spray easier. Extra hardener will make the paint glossier and well harder lol
You'll need a good prep solvent/surface cleaner too, don't skimp on it

Good luck man!
