removing pitting from aluminum rims?

i have an extra set of american racing aluminum rims im trying to clean up so i can sell some day. and theres alot of pitting. does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove it? thanks!

Sand 'em and polish 'em. Wet sand with some 400 or 800 grit to get out the deep stuff then polish with mothers or whatever else you prefer. For a deep gloss use fine jewelers polish.
What kind and size are they?

yeah ill try doing that. i heard mothers is good. an they are american racing outlaws. 15x10

If they are really bad oven clean and steel wool will get really heavy stuff

Sand in stages, 800-1000 grit followed by a good polish should shine them up
