I got my gauge overlay off right now. I looked and the blue tint is literally built inside it. There's no way of peeling it off. So what do I do?

so the plastic itself is tinted blue? or is it just on there really good

yeah, already got the lights ordered to. You don't think that high white intensity would overpower the tint it's got in there?

prob not entirely, but I had the low power white in mine and it looked like this,

it wasnt horrible, but straight up blue is better

No I think I might just lay some blue tint behind it since I already ordered white bulbs.

Ok now the tachometer isn't working... how do I fix that?

Just unhook the neg. battery cable to reset pcm right?

Yea and wait about 10 min I'd say. But as far as the tint goes. I wonder how much blue is used in the plastic. Maybe if you were to scratch away on the little lines some of the plastic maybe it would show better??

Do I need to pull the needles off again then set them all at zero?

I don't think so. you could always plug it in with the needles off and turn the key to set them to 0.

iirc nail polish remover should strip the color off. but please take that w/ a grain of salt
