(insert evil sounding music) THE DEATH FLASH!Why dont I have it?

Sorry for the dramatic title..My 99 quad-cab 4x4 with 5.9 has no sticker or residue,indicating a dealer flash etc on the ECM/computer.Shouldn't the truck have had it done at some point?The truck has 130k miles on it now....Im not sure im complaing..Just curious as to anyone's input on the matter

Do you have a p/n on your pcm?

your truck may have never been took back in to the dealer for the "so called recall." and even if it was takin to the dealer the"update" might have not got installed.

That's a very good thing. The previous owner simply just never took it back to the dealer to have done. I don't have it on mine and it's slow enough, I can't imagine having the Flash.
