Hi everyone.
I have a "second gen" 97 Dodge Ram 1500.
It seems to kinda miss first gear when I put it in drive, If I put it down into first its there with no problems it only cant find first in drive.
Does this sound as simple as a filter fluid change or does anyone know of something else I might look for.

You can check the fluid level but I would check for a code. Could be one of a few things. Bearing on in line Check valve could be sticking, Shift sensors. Does it do it just when tranny gets hot or all the time?

Ok so I checked the codes and got the 45 code for the transmission od solenoid circuit. But I believe there are two transmission solenoids am I am unsure of which one they are referring to. Any suggestions?
