Whats a good tuner that I can put in my truck? I got a 5.2 V8. I'm wanting it for more power and possibly better mileage.

SCT is the best for our 2nd gens, just FYI. The only thing the Super Chips has on the SCT is the Speedo Calibrator.

My 3815 does just fine for me. Fair price 3 tunes and speedo reprogramming. But SCT is a must for a true unlock. More power and changeable to different mods. I went with the 3815 cause I'm poor and I only wanted the towing tune. Oh yea also does codes. Dunno if sct does that??

On my old '01 5.9 4x4 QC, I was pulling 19 to 21 mpg on the 60 mph interstate runs. 1.7 rockers, u/d pulley, fastman tb, flowmaster, PPH headers, and a flash. I think the more you can free up the engine load, the better off you will be from a mpg perspective.

I picked mine up off craigs list for 120. But if you go that route make sure it's not vin locked or it will cost ya a little more to get it unlocked and a bit of a headache.

Got a question for you on these sct's. I would like to keep my superchips cause I run 2 diff wheels and tires. Is there any safe way to make these tuners work together?

Not in the way that you'd need. I'm pretty sure superchips has a tire calibration unit...seems I've seen it in summit racing magazine. Only does tire size changes. Seems it is Superchips

Ok I Just wanted to hear it from the horse mouth.

My idea was use the superchips for the wheels and tires and use the sct for the tunes.

Its funny this comes up because 2 of my customers with hemi engines that stack for some trans functionality said they are able to change tire size anytime they want. Your pcm is a different style so I'm not sure if it would still do they same but shoot me pm or email if you're interested. I still don't think it works 100% for everybody
