Are you wanting just a replacement one or a heavy duty one?

Diehard Platinums, Optima, NAPA, AutoZone Duralast, Wal-Mart Everstart, Interstate

I'm not specifically recommending autozone, just saying that i know if you go in there they will look it up and then tell you what they have...i think they have 3 different grades of battery and warranty. A place like walmart you have to look it up yourself in the book.

I would try and find the highest cold cranking amp you can. I wanna say my truck as 750-800 or something like that and I am not sure but might be the Walmart Everstart (I can't remember what I got but is been good for a couple years now). Some others might chime in with their favorite.

Edit: Just looked at some photos, I have the Everstart Maxx

I would go with optima yellow top.... It's one of my future mids... Had one on my older furd and never had a problem for the 4 yrs I had it... It was pricey but they can handle any beating and abuse you put to it.

I've got a red top on mine with 900 CCA's. You're truck calls for a Group 27 battery with at least 700 CCA's. If you get one with 700 or more, you'll be good. Now for the low temps, don't get me lying lol. We're lucky is it gets below freezing down here

I see that is a slightly old thread, but I have always heard great things about the sears diehard platinum from the jeep community. I for one can not afford them. I usually get a middle of the line priced battery from advance auto or walmart.

Optima is what I always buy. I also have them check the battery before I leave to store.

I have the walmart everstart maxx yellow top. Did me well but the battery is going on 6 years old and is starting to struggle on those super cold below zero mornings. lol
