Yea, need to know final impedance at the sub or cup if it's a pre-loaded box...that will change your choices on amp.

well the guy is a rockford fosgate dealer so he is getting me the 400-1 punch and the eq control knob for 200. on amazon those two things are about 330-345. more then I want to spend but I feel like since the savings are there mind as well get more than I'm paying for

that amp will work. I go with the saying it is better to have an amp too big with the gain turned down than to have an amp too small with the gain turned up.

lol...i adopted that saying after blowing a sub because i had an amp too small..........luckily i got the sub replaced under limited warranty.
