Hey i replaced my radiator the other day and now my tranny is slipping real bad in first second and sometimes third. I never had any problems with the transmission before i did my radiator, the problem i had with the new radiator tho was the clip holding on the transmission cooler line to the piece connected with the radiator. Ive been told torque converter, speed sensor, TPS, and bands on the gears, so anybody good with transmissions have any clues?

Ya it was full when i checked it sunday, the radiator was changed friday but it seems to be barely leaking tranny fluid

Did you happen to check it in neutral while running?? If not that may be the issue. Sounds like it's low on fluid.

I think the cooler line may be blocked/ clogged.

How would it get clogged just from putting in a new radiator?

So if yal were wonderin what it was i found out that the nut coming off the radiator holding the nipple for the tranny cooler line was loose and i guess not holding pressure or gettin air in the line causing the valve to stay closed

Good to hear you got it taken care of.

There is a check valve right there by the radiator that gets clogged and messes the tranny up too.
