Today I saw a 16 year old kid filling up a brand new Cummins truck at the gas pump not the diesel pump.....

Hmm. Seems someone is not gonna have a running truck much longer!

Sure its not a diesel pump? Cummins is just the engine.

Cummins is just a engine...and no, Cummins does not make a gas engine for our Dodges.

Either is was a gas/diesel pump...or they kid was an idiot lol

I wouldn't be surprised if the kid took his parents truck out, and decided to fill it up. Not realizing hes actually destroying the truck by doing so. Lol.

Was the handle green? They use the same station here but they have to different handles for gas and diesel
Could have just been filling up a can
or blowing up his truck

Is that even possible? I heard the nozzles were different sizes so you couldn't do that

Diesel nozzles are larger then gas nozzles so they wont fit in gas vehicles unfortunatly that doesnt work the other way around lol. I saw a lady still manage to get a diesel nozzle into her tahoe and fuel it up. I was trying to get her attention but she was on her cell phone...

thats going to end very bad. We had our driver at work fill our sprinter with gas. It ran real bad. It ended up needing a new fuel rail and filter also a complete flush of the tank

Damn, you didn't let him know or ask him? That's messed up. Looks like Daddy or Mommy's gonna have a big bill.

Moved this thread for ya, to the diesel section.

Incorrect......

If it was filled at a auto-diesel pump then the nozzle was the same size as the gasser nozzle.

Sorry to say but the gasoline in a diesel is going to do lots of damage being that most all injection pump (except P7100) rely on diesel fuel as a lubricant to keep the pumps going.
