Engine bay

i need to clean the bay and i see alot of really clean ones on here what do you guys do use soap and water? spray wax on the parts?

Suggest visiting your local auto store and getting some purple power, or any other degreaser. They also sell a stronger degreaser made just for cleaning the engine bay.

i have some simple green and some very very strong degreeser that i use on the trucks

Check out our vendor on the site Thompson Racing. They sell Adam's Polishes. I'd suggest using the following:

to clean the engine:
Adam's All-Purpose Cleaner

for the hard to reach areas:
Adam's In & Out Spray Dressing

and for everything else:
Adam's Super VRT Tire & Trim Dressing

This is what I have used for the past several years, along with SEVERAL other of Adam's products. Nothing else can touch their products!

Washing your engine bay is not like washing your car. You can do a lot of damage if the wrong steps and wrong techniques are used. There are a lot of electronics in today's vehicles and you can make an expensive mistake by getting the wrong parts wet.

This should give you an idea of the proper techniques to use.
