Whats the best way to clean really bad old brake dust. Ive heard of people getting Rim acid but i cant seem to find it any idea's ?

I would avoid any kind of wheel acid, especially if you have the stock aluminum wheels
When I worked at a dealership the first kind we used would eat through the clear coat on wheels in seconds and corrosion would start within days
It's really nasty stuff
Try sonax wheel cleaner, it's an alkaline based cleaner and won't eat through your wheel

I dont know whats in it but meguires makes a wheel cleaner that i think is called hot wheels that works well for me .

You can get the Meguire's from most parts stores but I haven't seen the others anywhere but online

thanks i am sick of the nasty rims and it hard brake dust on it, it will come off but it super tough and take like 15 mins a rim
