lookin to swap out my 99 v10 for a 24 valve and want to know if my cab harness will interface with the 24valve engine harness and also would like to know if i have to use the factory 24 valve engine mounts or if i can make my own

Had guy from my car club do that swap. He switched switched the harness but not entirely sure. He also swapped the dash but didn't need to and also made his own motor mounts

Cheaper to sell the 99 and buy a CTD.

You will need all the electronics from a 99 or early 2000 truck to make it work and finding the needed parts may be a chore.

With how the 2nd Gen Cummins prices have dropped you may find it easier to just sell yours and buy a Cummins.

However,if you prefer to still do it here is a good place to look for needed parts....

i have a wrecked 2003 i want to swap over to another 3rd gen maybe early 4th gen. any advice is greatly appreciated.
