Took me the better part of two days but I got the Katzkin's put in. Wasn't too bad. Had to have the wife help on getting some of the hog rings put in but other than that, pretty straight forward. Also put in some heated seats as a bonus :peace:

These plus the 8.4 upgrade, premium cluster and interior LED's make the interior sharp!

And just is case the fuses ever blow...

That looks amazing! You had the cloth seats originally?

Yeah. This is before.

Sorry for the stupid question. Didn't recognize the name. Now I have another upgrade added to the list. This forum is going to be the death of my wallet! How hard was the install?

It really wasn't that bad. The best advice I can give you is that you get a really nice set of hog ring pliers. I got a pair and they didn't work very well because the rings kept slipping out. I ran out to Ace Hardware and got a different set that were more sturdy and were better beveled to hold the ring tight.

Other than that, the covers went on easily. The tabs where the hog rings attached to were notched to show the middle. I did that one first and then the sides from there. If you have the time, I don't see how anyone could not do it. You will need some help to get the hog rings on the back of the top bench seat and again to get the zippered part done on the seat part of the bench.

Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely keep it in mind.

Looks Super sharp.

Rear seat a bench or split bench?
Where did you get your Katskinz?
What color and stitching color did you decide on?

Thanks for sharing

Glad you put that link down. While I was looking earlier, the cheapest I had found was about $800

I like the position you chose for the switches.

Clean install. Katzkin is a quality aftermarket seat cover choice. Thinking about doing the seats in my corvette in them but just haven't had the time. I want to get rid of the pleather.

I am getting mine done and installed for 899 and that's with a different color stitch and pref. insert.
