I have an 05 ram 1500 and from reading the reviews online and in many forums, i knew this was the right choice.....However, when i plug this in to the port, it says to turn the ignition to the on position, when i do it says "cannot detect ignition on".

it works great in my moms 08 1500.

my question to yall is WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH MY TRUCK!?!?
any ideas?????

Could be VIN locked... If thats the case, plug it back into your moms truck and set it back to stock. Then that will allow you to use it on your truck. Thats the only thing I can think of though

well i meant for it to be used only for my truck, so i tried using on mine first, then just to make sure it wasnt the tuner itself, i tested it on my moms. but its really making me mad and i have NO clue at all what it could be haha
